Will the I-CAN miscalculate budgets and encourage fraud on NDIS?

Welcome to Disability Watch, a community advocacy body focused on driving user-led reform in Australian disability policy.
We aim to shine a light on the policy problems affecting NDIS' users and inform co-design by publishing investigative and reform articles on disability policy.

Have you had your NDIS funding cut or been denied supports? Or have you simply had difficulties dealing with NDIA?
If so, please share your story through our contact page.
Disability Watch seeks participant testimonials in an effort to understand problems that affect the scheme. This helps inform co-design, as well as our efforts to publicly highlight problems with NDIS.

Disappointed by a recent string of harmful policies from NDIA, members from the disability community– with backgrounds in government, law, allied-health and support coordination– have come together to develop user-led alternatives to help make NDIS safer for participants, while mindful of scheme's need to become financially sustainable.
We believe that there's no need to harm participants in the quest for financial sustainability as is currently occurring: it's not an either/or. With smart co-design, NDIS can be made financially sustainable without harming participants.
Our mission is to make NDIS safe and equitable for its disabled participants through user-led advocacy and co-design.
